Stephen Roach is a multi-instrumentalist, poet, songwriter and a student of West African and Classical Indian percussion. Stephen has written and recorded four CD?s and has contributed to the works of numerous recording artists including Leonard Jones, Jonathan David Helser, Sarah McMillan, Sean Feucht and many others. Alongside of the music, Stephen teaches on creativity and the pursuit of God. He has self published a collection of poems entitled, The Beckoning? and is currently working on several new books.
Stephen spends most of his time pioneering new sounds and discovering creative ways to encounter the Presence of God through music and art. He is currently the Worship/Arts pastor of Morningstar Fellowship in Winston Salem, NC. His instrumental band, “Songs of Water” plays at various festivals, clubs and venues across the country. He and his wife Sarah, live in Greensboro, North Carolina with their beautiful daughter, Evangelyn Belle.
